Nipple Mountain Nip ™
Gold Medal American Barleywine – North American Beer Awards ‘10
Silver Medal Strong Ale - Colorado State Fair '09
Gold Medal Strong Ale - Colorado State Fair '08
“NIP” is our richest and most full-bodied beer to date. Brewed in the style of an American Barleywine, it's a special holiday treat that's been aging in our cellars for months. The luscious, velvety texture is balanced with a huge amount of classic American hops... this includes multiple dry hoppings for a heady hop aroma. At 10.5% in alcohol, it's meant to be a slow sipping beer... something to be enjoyed throughout the Winter. Served only in brandy-style snifters.
Limit two glasses per customer. Special "Brewer's Vintage" bottled versions will also available. Cellarable for up to three years.
Nipple Mountain Nip was awarded three of four stars by the Ale Street News.

Ruby red color, poured with a big head. Aromas of apples, blueberry muffins, sour cherries, alcohol. “Good balance. Slight woody character, nice smooth finish. Hops and malt play well together. Mellow malt sweetness mixed with some tartness. Interesting — almost like a barleywine/Flemish red combination.”
2nd Place Winner in the
Beer & Cheese Challenge at Big Beers Festival!

Fire Stoned Irish Ale ™
Bronze Medal Amber Ale - Denver International Beer Competition '11
A special release for St. Paddy's Day every year. We craft our traditional Irish Red Ale, and then... "Fire-Stone-It." Yes, this means the we take chunks of super-heated granite stones and carefully add them into the brew kettle. The malt sugars actually sizzle, then caramelize on the stones themselves, and thus infuse the beer with some wonderful caramel notes that you can't achieve any other way. Fire Stoned Irish Ale ™ has great malt flavor and yet, a dry finish, which makes it an easy drinking pint.
Food & Beer Pairing: Classic Pub foods like our Corned Beef, Shepherd's Pie & Beer Brats.... Sláinte! (cheers!) |

Ice Cave Lager ™
Traditional German Lagers were lovingly stored (aka "Lagered") in Hand-Carved Ice Caves. This natural Cave-Aging gave the Lager Bier a special smoothness over time. So, as a tribute to this historical effort (and patience), we crafted a classic Vienna-Style Bier and naturally Lagered it in our cellars for months.... no filtration! We used imported German malts & hops for that authentic taste... A great, toasted malt flavor that blends smoothly with a crisp dry Lager finish. "Es ist gut!" 5.4% abv
